Two large double-paned windows overlook the street and allow for plenty of light and fresh air. Cable television includes English-speaking news stations.
Four short blocks to trendy Rue Montorgueil. Once part of Paris’ wholesale market, Les Halles, it is now a pedestrian street filled with wine shops, cheese merchants, produce stores, restaurants, and bakeries, such as Stohrer, the oldest bakery in Paris. Do not forget to explore the side streets with its many boutiques and restaurants, or rue Montmartre where a twice-weekly open-air market is held at the foot of the church of Saint Eustache.
