We will assemble in the morning of October 7 at la Gare St. Lazare-specific details to follow and will be picked up at La Gare Pont l'Evèque.
Guillaume DROUIN will welcome us with one of his new Calvados Cocktails followed by a tour of the distillery and master class on the history and fabrication of this potent Norman spirit.
We will break for lunch accompanied by la famille DROUIN: Christian, Guillaume and the effervescent Béatrice. Served in the private event dining room we will be served a seasonal starter, terrines, salads, free-range chicken, fromages du Pays d'Auge (Camembert, Pont l'Evèque and Livarot accompanied by Pommeau , cidre , poiré, Calvados and Calvados Blanche appropriate to each dish.
We will finish our visit with a dégustation that will feature 40 year old Calvados. Provide your own cigars.
