I invite you to join me for a Paris walking tour au flaneur as we went our way from one side of Seine beginning with a discussion of the importance of the café in Parisian life and the luminaries like Sartre, de Beauvoir, Camus, Juliette Greco and Miles Davis who filled them, to the other, pausing to enjoy the obvious (the Louvre) and the slightly hidden (passage Vivienne). In our travels we will meet the wine merchants, galeristes, restaurateurs and eccentric personalities who have become my friends and will give you a warm welcome to the neighborhood. 2-Hour Tour on Demand except Monday. 1-2 persons 350 euros 3-4 persons 500 euros

A true American Friend in Paris and an unforgettable personality, Terrance with his complex and varied life story has been immersed in Paris. Also all of France and uses all this to expand the tour. Every street, corner and alleyway is painted by his brush of commentary. Also, he personalized the tour to include as much of particular interest to us as participants.
He added to our prior knowledge and experience in Paris.
The trip was bookended by coffee and croissants to introduce the trip and coffee and final discussion to bring it to an end. A wonderful lunch was woven into the adventure.
Do yourself a favor and give it a whirl.
A tour of Paris with Terrance is a revelation. Give up the guise of “tourist” for a day, and take a break from museums, churches and monuments. Instead, participate in one of the city’s most hallowed traditions — flânerie — strolling some of the world’s most beautiful streets with a witty raconteur (and talented crooner) observing the way real Parisians live. You will explore art galleries, interior design shops and book sellers, centuries’ old arcades hiding fashion boutiques and resale stores. And food, glorious food: produce markets, chocolate makers, patisseries and boulangeries... Along the way, you will learn Parisian history and that of the American expatriates who have lived there (writers, film directors, jazz musicians, artists, activists, etc.). You will likely stop for lunch at a restaurant where the only English you hear is your own. In short, you will become Parisian for the day. A must!
